A shared session is with 2 clients (yourself, plus 1) on the call. Usually this would be a friend, recovery partner, etc of your choosing, but does not have to be. (It is designed to be a consistent partner though – meaning the same person every time.) The benefits of doing coaching this way are:
1. Financial – The two of you split the cost of the session equally resulting in a substantial savings, or, you can essentially double the amount of sessions you are doing for the same money, if you wish to get more “work” done for the same dollar amount over the course of the next year for example.
2. Objectivity – Sitting in on someone’s session can be very beneficial. It is easier to see, hear, and observe more objectively watching someone else work. You can add powerful growth and self-awareness to your own program by availing yourself to this type of observation learning. While we are all on our own unique paths, much of our work is similar to the person’s next to us.
3. Emotional Support – Having a trusted friend and recovery partner present for your sessions can be a tremendous help both in the moment and for further processing together after the session. In addition to the intimacy of being seen and known at deeper levels, they may be able to offer further in-site that time did not permit in the session, or because of their own unique perspective that is not mine as the coach. They can also be there after the meeting to help process feelings, thoughts, and triggers, offering a highly informed safety net outside of the 50 minute window.
Splitting the time evenly would be up to the 2 clients. They could split the session itself in half, taking 25 minutes each, or one person could take the full 50 minutes and alternate turns each week.
Payment is made online, through the scheduling page, at the time of booking.
